Preposition – حروف جار

تعریف: وہ لفظ جو کسی اسم یا ضمیر سے پہلے آکر اس کا تعلق کسی دوسرے

 اسم یا ضمیر یا کسی فعل سے کردے اسے اردو میں حرف جار کہتے ہیں۔

Definition: A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence.

Examples:

The boy is sitting in the chair.

لڑکا کرسی پہ بیٹھا ہوا ہے۔
